Cas di Cultura is proud to reflect on the success of Battle of the Bands 2026, which brought together musicians, music lovers, and members of Aruba’s rock community for an unforgettable evening of live music at Centro di Bario Noord.
With more than 300 attendees filling the venue, the event demonstrated the continued enthusiasm for live music and the growing appetite for platforms that showcase local talent. Throughout the evening, audiences enjoyed performances from competing bands Red Rush, Santanero, Aletheia, and Mono Tone, each bringing their own unique sound and energy to the stage.
After a night of strong performances and fierce competition, Red Rush was crowned the winner of Battle of the Bands 2026. The victory was especially significant as it was the band’s first time participating in the competition. Their prize included Afl. 5,000 to be spent at Cliffix and the production of a professional music video courtesy of The Music Hub. Santanero claimed second place after delivering a standout performance and was awarded Afl. 2,500. Both bands demonstrated the exceptional talent and passion that continue to strengthen Aruba’s local music scene.
Cas di Cultura extends its sincere gratitude to all participating bands, guest bands, and judges for their dedication, talent, and commitment to keeping live music alive on the island. The organization also wishes to thank Centro di Bario Noord, Cliffix, and The Music Hub for their valuable support in making the event possible.
Beyond the competition itself, Battle of the Bands reflects Cas di Cultura’s broader mission of creating opportunities for artistic expression and cultural participation within the community. By providing stages, platforms, and experiences for musicians to develop and showcase their talents, Cas di Cultura continues to invest in the growth of Aruba’s creative sector and the development of local artists.
Cas di Cultura looks forward to building on the success of this year’s event and continuing to provide meaningful opportunities for local artists and audiences alike.
