If you read the Bible and pay close attention to what you read, you will see that the very same goat that Jacob used to deceive his father Isaac in order to receive the blessing meant for his brother Esau (Genesis 27:9), is the same way his own sons deceived him (Genesis 37:11), making him believe that his son had died by using the blood of a goat.
Lies entered the world when Satan used the serpent to deceive Eve. Why specifically Eve? Eve was the woman spoken of by God for the multiplication of human beings, and since the devil hates human beings (John 10:10), he attacked Eve thinking that way he could hinder God’s purpose. But God turned things around, because God forgives, and God used a woman to bring His Son Christ Jesus into the world, He who will trample and completely destroy the devil.
The life of a lie is short, and the truth lasts forever; a lie causes pain and even death, but the truth brings life, freedom, joy, and happiness.
The spirit of lies is moving everywhere, and people let the devil use them, because the devil has been a liar from the beginning, and we notice this in the fact that no matter how much people hear the truth, they still continue with the lie.
Our youth urgently need help, because they are told: do not use drugs, do not drink, do not carry weapons, do not steal, do not sell drugs; but the spirit of lies puts it in their heads that they can do it and remain physically fine.
Currently, there are many sick people, on their way to the doctor or traveling from country to country, and all they hear is: the amount of drugs and alcohol you used in the past has put your stomach, kidneys, lungs, and liver in danger. This is the consequence of a lie that people believed in, purchasing sickness for their own bodies.
After Jacob deceived his father, he went to live with his uncle Laban, and Laban deceived Jacob by making him work seven years to marry his daughter, and on the wedding night switched the daughters.
After Joseph’s brothers deceived their father that Joseph had died, Joseph was taken to Egypt, where Potifar’s wife also lied about him. Joseph spent more than 10 years in prison innocently, but afterwards he came out because God brought him out, he became Governor of Egypt, and the very brothers who had lied had to come and look for food from him.
God’s justice is so perfect that if you lie about someone, the truth will come to light, because God does not hide a lie. God is light and truth, and in Him there is absolutely no darkness.
Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and whoever rolls a stone, the stone will roll back on him (Proverbs 26:27). A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape (Proverbios 19:5). A hypocrite destroys his neighbor with his mouth, but through wisdom the righteous will be delivered (Proverbs 11:9). No evil will befall the righteous, but the wicked will be filled with trouble (Proverbs 12:21).
Because of lies, there is much violence among our youth, and sadness in many families. There are still many people who marry and refuse to understand that adultery is not God’s plan, and they keep lying.
Reject the lie, and seek God’s truth.
