Early Sunday morning at 00:02, the police dispatch was notified of a motorcycle accident on the Westpunt road.
Initial reports to the police stated that, for reasons unknown, the driver struck rocks on the side of the road and was unresponsive.
Police dispatch sent a patrol unit and an ambulance to the scene.
Upon arrival, the first patrol unit found the motorcycle driver unresponsive following the crash.
Paramedics arrived and rendered medical assistance to the male driver, but unfortunately, nothing more could be done for him.
The forensic doctor confirmed the death of the young man, Noah Ian Hietbrink, born in Aruba on November 10, 2008 (17 years old).
