Following a fatal accident that took place on Thursday afternoon on the Green Corridor. The victim has been identified as a young man, Jeanemarc van der Biezen, 32 years old.
At 12:57 PM, the Police Central Dispatch received a notification of a serious accident on the Green Corridor route, heading from the Pos Chiquito roundabout towards Oranjestad. The accident involved a white Hyundai car and a white Suzuki Hayabusa high-performance motorcycle.
Because the motorcyclist was unresponsive, authorities dispatched Police and Ambulance units to the scene with maximum urgency. Upon arrival, first responders confirmed the severity of the situation. Despite the efforts of the paramedic personnel to provide first aid and the necessary medical assistance, the injuries were fatal, and nothing more could be done to save his life.
A forensic doctor arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of Jeanemarc van der Biezen, born in Aruba on January 27, 1994.
Investigation and Family Support To determine the exact cause of the accident, traffic specialists, together with the Technical Police Department (BFTO), closed off the area to begin a structural investigation of the scene.
