Centro di Bario Noord proudly presented the official performance of “LET’S ACT” Aruba, celebrating the effort, talent, and progress of all participants. After several months of intense training, participants took the stage during a lively and emotional cultural gala to showcase the results of their preparation, representing disciplines such as theater, singing, dance, and folklore.
“LET’S ACT” Aruba is a socio-cultural initiative, an innovative collaboration between the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie (FCP) and CEDE Aruba, designed to strengthen cultural participation in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
The program creates opportunities for children to participate in a structured program focused on talent development, creativity, and personal expression. Through guidance, mentorship, and constant practice, the program enhances the children’s confidence, discipline, and artistic abilities.
The evening was especially memorable as December 5, Sinterklaas’ birthday, coincided with the event. Sinterklaas and his Pieten visited the Centro di Bario Noord to greet all the children, and Mama Claus also made an appearance, adding joy and a festive atmosphere to the occasion.
The audience also enjoyed a dramatization of the birth of the beloved “Niño Hesus.” Special thanks were extended to Mr. Rocky and Erwin for their dedication, patience, and love in transferring their knowledge to the children. Their contribution is fundamental to the ongoing development of talent in the neighborhood.
Thanks were also given to all elders, mentors, and everyone supporting Centro di Bario Noord, continuing to show trust in the center. Special appreciation went to Pittbull Singing Production by Ruth Gaarie for their beautiful performance. Gratitude was also extended to Jermaine Acosta and Madelene Kelly and their cast for the dramatization of “Niño Hesus.”
A highly appreciated gesture came from Elmar, who gifted the children Chispito storybooks, a piggy bank to encourage saving habits, and a themed coloring book. Thanks were also expressed to Sharp Productions & Entertainment for their sound sponsorship and to Elmar for the giveaway items.
The evening was a testament to what community, culture, and unity can achieve together, reinforcing Centro di Bario Noord’s vision to continue fostering the spiritual, social, cultural, and athletic development of the beloved village of Noord.
