The most visited film in Aruba in 2025, E Bruha, Bruha 1, has received five nominations for the prestigious “Kadushi di Oro” award at the 25th Krioyo Film Festival.
The impact of this Aruban film, produced by Desiree Croes, was significant during the Krioyo Film Festival 2025, and the jury selected it among the best of the festival. The competition includes productions and performances by producers and actors from Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.
The categories in which EBB1 has been nominated are:
- Best Actress – Desiree Croes
- Best Actor – Addonsito Croes
- Best Supporting Actress – Yvonne Tromp
- Best Director – Desiree Croes
- Best Film 2025 – E Bruha, Bruha
The nominations are grouped in categories of two or three nominees, from which one winner per category will be announced on December 29. The producer and actors are grateful for each nomination, which in itself is already a great honor.
The crew also congratulates Omar Harms and Jeng Leon for their nomination for Best Editing for The Prime Ministers, and Michael Lampe for his nomination for Best Background Music for Tribute to Margareth Abraham.
