Let’s work, there is much work to do, the days are short!

Pastor Marcel Balootje 1

The Great Commission, the mandate of Christ Jesus that stands in all four gospels, is known to us all. Matthew 28:18-19 states: “Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.'”

The same is written in Mark 16:15-16, saying: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

It is a call made to all who know Jesus Christ to continue taking His word around the world just as He commanded us. There will always be obstacles; opposition will rise in different forms. The devil will get in between people to compete with one another—who knows more, who is greater—but we all know that our duty is to take the gospel wherever we go.

We see many tricks from those who let the spirit of the antichrist dominate their lives; those who in the future will take the mark, those who do not want to listen, and those who close the borders of their country to the Word of God. Those who still believe in religion and do not see that their relationship with Christ Jesus must be optimal. Those who say their elders were that way and they will not change either, but they do not know that the change is not religious, but relational. Many also believe they belong to people and forget what Christ Jesus said to Peter: “Simon, feed My sheep.”

No one belongs to anyone; everyone belongs to Christ, because He is the only one who died on the cross for our salvation. Therefore, the gospel of God must be preached everywhere, for it is written: “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!'” (Romans 10:14-15).

If we consider how science has increased—we are already in a world of robots, and man wants to replace man with robots—the love of many has grown cold. Many, instead of moving toward the path, are turning away from the path of God. Human wickedness, malice, immorality, pride, and bitterness are increasing, and we understand that this is also a sign showing that the coming of Christ is near. We must make every effort so that the word reaches everywhere, in every home and every family.

The word of God says clearly that there will be seducing spirits and doctrines of demons moving, and that people will seek to hear what they want and will not accept correction or discipline, but will want to live a libertine life.

The time is laborious, the days are becoming short, evil is increasing, but there is a great light on the horizon for all who believe. Do not let anything stop you from preaching the word of God everywhere.

Sincerely, Pastor Marcel Balootje
