The Minister of Justice, Public Transport, Integration, and Energy, Mr. Drs. Arthur Dowers, received the new president of the Police Union (SPA), Lito Lacle, along with SPA board member Alex Wernet, in his office for an introductory meeting.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the importance of maintaining open communication between the Minister of Justice and representatives of the police force, focusing on the well-being of police officers, strengthening the organization, and safety for the community.
Minister Dowers congratulated the new board on their election and wished them much success with the important responsibility they have assumed.
Minister of Justice Dowers believes in good cooperation based on mutual respect. Furthermore, he stands for open communication, which is fundamental to continue strengthening the police force and ensuring a safer Aruba, with more stability and more trust in the community.
