Following the resignation of Mr. Statia, the Executive Council has established a new distribution of portfolios to guarantee the continuity of governance and the execution of its duties. During the Executive Council meeting on July 1, 2026, the division of responsibilities between the two commissioners was formalized.

Commissioner B – Timoteo Silberie leads:

Directorate of Planning and Development

Education and Housing/Accommodation
Sports and Recreation
Public Health
Spatial Planning, General Planning, and Prosperity
Infrastructure and Water Management
Nature, Environment, and Ecological Recovery
Island Governor (Gezaghèber) Soliano serves as the chairman of the Island Council, chairman of the Executive Council, and chairman of the General Meeting of Shareholders.
Responsible for policy areas such as:
Good Governance
Public Order and Safety
Crisis Management and Disaster Relief
In the event of a commissioner’s absence, the other commissioner will temporarily replace them and assume the necessary responsibilities to ensure the continuity of governance.
