Preparations are in full swing for the South American Games taking place on September 2 in Santa Fe, Argentina. The Aruban delegation consists of athletes who will compete in the road racing event.
According to received information, this competition is of a very high level, where athletes will measure their strength against countries like Brazil and Argentina. Local athletes have shown good results in the past during the South American Games, and expectations are high to achieve positive results once again, as announced by Jhonatan Wever, Director of Operations of the Aruban Olympic Committee.
The only sport joining is track and field (athletics), with a young athlete who will also participate this time. The goal in this event is to secure a spot in the top eight, providing a strong representation in the racing sport.
