How would you feel if you arrived somewhere urgently because you needed help, and the person who is supposed to help you isn’t there or walks in whenever they feel like it?
Every time we are late, we show a lack of love and respect for our neighbor, because we are looking only out for our own interests and not the interests of others (Philippians 2:3-4).
Arriving late while others are waiting for you demonstrates a lack of interest, a lack of respect, or that there is something you want to show you are unhappy about.
However, arriving late and acting as though you are indispensable is laziness and foolishness, because the day will come when someone else will be given the responsibility you hold, and at that moment, anger and weeping will follow.
Time does not belong to us; time belongs to God, and because time belongs to God, we must use time wisely because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16).
When a person is on time:
They demonstrate respect.
They demonstrate interest.
People place trust in them.
Their presence is pleasant.
They are considered for positions of authority.
When a person is late all the time:
They cannot hold any position of authority.
Such a person cannot hold any key to open doors.
That person lacks interest in their work and does not respect colleagues or superiors.
Even in your own home, you must make sure to be on time so that your children can see order in the house.
No one can depend on someone who is constantly late.
Punctuality being lost due to “culture” is a devilish lie. There is no nationality that identifies itself with being late.
Even when someone owns a business, they must arrive on time to demonstrate that they value what they have.
A parent who comes home late every day shows no interest in their family, especially their children. When you come home late every day, even evil can exert control over you.
Being late is not something to boast about, nor is it something to show off.
Being late in the house of God: Make sure you are in the house of God on time, and make sure everything starts on time. Because from God we receive everything, and we must give respect and reverence.
Do everything decently and in order; do not look at others, make sure that you yourself have fear of God.
Participate in the complete service and not just a certain part, because when God blesses, He blesses completely.
There is no excuse for someone who is late all the time.
Arriving on time is a display of self-control (Galatians 5:22).
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23).
The Lord will not let the righteous go hungry, but He thwarts the craving of the wicked (Proverbs 10:3).
Wherever there is order, there is decency, respect, and growth.
Order demonstrates love for what we do, raises our level of output, and displays wisdom.
Responsibility is placed in the hands of the one who respects time and communicates with others so that they too are on time.
The coming of Jesus Christ is drawing near; no one knows the day or the hour, but we must be prepared at all times.
