As part of the General Occasion, on the morning of 26 April 2023 the annual awarding of Royal Decorations took place at the Governor’s Ceremonial House. The Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, presented the Aruban decorations. In the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands this year 30 people were decorated in total: 10 in Aruba, 12 in Corsica, 7 in Bonaire and 1 in St. Eustatius.
