No one knows the day or the hour, but just as the farmer notices that it is harvest time, so all who believe in Christ notice in the signs, in world events, in the movements of nature, and in everything that Christ Jesus said and is written in Matthew 24, that the time is drawing near.
Many people are afraid of everything that is happening, because no place is safe from what God’s word says, as what is written will come upon the entire world just as it is written in Luke 21:34-36.
So far, the mocker does not want to stop mocking, nor does the scoffer want to stop scoffing; nor do those who reject Christ Jesus want to change their hearts. Their hearts and thoughts drift further away from His word every day, seeking and serving false gods that do not exist and cannot bring salvation.
As it is written, those who believe in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, because they want to live a life that pleases God, in holiness and peace, and thus fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.
Let us open our eyes wide and continue to persevere, because great things are on the way. Let us ask God to open doors so that the gospel of God can reach everywhere, just as the Great Commission commands us.
Let everyone examine themselves, since we cannot judge others, but we must proclaim to all people—even if the words written in John 3:36 sound harsh to many, saying:
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
What does it mean that the wrath of God remains on a person?
In John 3:16-18, it explains to us that whoever does not believe is condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Where there is condemnation, there the wrath of God will be.
In Romans 2:5, the Word explains again how people, because of their stubbornness and unrepentant heart, store up wrath against themselves for the day of God’s wrath and judgment.
Explaining even more clearly, we can all understand that God loved the world so much that He wants to give everyone a chance to enter heaven, which is only by believing in and living for His Son Christ Jesus.
Time is running short; we do not know how much more time we have. The world is becoming hot, and that is one of the signs that demonstrates most clearly what is written in 2 Peter 3:7.
The promise in John 14:1-4 is so that we may not be afraid, that we believe in God and believe in Christ Jesus as it is written—that He will go and prepare a place for us, and then come back to take us to be with Him, so that where He is, we may also be.
Take good note of what is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
Troublesome times, where science and technology are increasing, and more and more people are going astray, placing their attention and dedication on earthly things while failing to seek what is eternal: the salvation that only Christ Jesus can offer.
The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Christ Jesus gives eternal life.
