Sports Stars 2026
the festive edition of Sports Stars 2026 took place. During this event, Indebon, in cooperation with the Bonaire Number Games Foundation (FWNB), paid tribute to athletes and coaches who excelled in the past sporting year.
The 2026 edition of Sports Stars was an inspiring evening filled with pride, appreciation, and solidarity. Commissioner Silberie, together with Mrs. Anna-Marie Mercera of FWNB, presented awards to 53 individuals, including coaches, senior athletes, and junior athletes who stood out in 2025.
Terrence De Jongh, head of Indebon, delivered a tribute speech for Constantino “Patun” Saragoza. Patun was an athlete and coach, as well as a great pillar in our Bonairean community. Patun participated in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games in windsurfing.
With this festive and gala evening, Indebon and FWNB express their deep gratitude to all sports athletes and coaches. This also includes those who could not be physically present. Their dedication and perseverance form the driving force behind the growth of sports in Bonaire.
