The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) proudly recognized Ewald Biemans for his remarkable dedication and all the years he has invested in promoting Aruba in Europe. This special moment took place during Aruba’s presence at ITB Berlin, alongside many industry partners, and in celebration of 40 years of Status Aparte, 50 years of our Anthem and Flag, and the 60th anniversary of ITB.
This year marks the 45th time Ewald has participated in ITB, an achievement demonstrating his ongoing commitment. Since his first appearance in 1981, Ewald has consistently represented and advocated for Aruba in the European market with diligence.
To commemorate this milestone, A.T.A. presented Ewald with a unique gift: a pair of cufflinks made from recycled watch mechanisms. The design symbolizes the values Ewald represents: sustainability, discipline, style, and exceptional skill to “run that business like clockwork.”
Surrounded by friends, colleagues, and industry partners, Ewald was visibly emotional about the recognition and warmly responded:
“Another year, I’ll be back.”
