September is Alzheimer’s month and there are several activities that will be held. The first activity will be an “Information Cinema Night” on World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21. It will take place at ‘Cas di Cultura’, in town. Admission to both events will be free.
Title: Wandering What is it and What to do About it? There will also be opportunities after the film for the public and press to ask questions.
The second activity of this Week will be a church “Teal Ribbon” will be a Mass Service with a presentation on Sundowning and Wandering. This will take place on Saturday September 23 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dr. Schaepmanstraat 3, Sanicolas (near the Citgo Gas Station of Essoville).
Both activities serve as prelude to an extensive training (in search) and a workshop that will take place in March 2024 jointly with Virginia experts.
