Constantly declare Jesus Christ as King and Lord over your life

Marcel Balootje 1

Why do you sometimes react and ask yourself: “Why do I have to do this?” Well, He is the only One who can change your life, bring repentance and forgiveness of sins, give you a new life, take you out of darkness, and bring you into His light, which frees you from all condemnation and gives you eternal life.

And now you can recognize that you have a new life, a new gift for your life. Before, the devil ruled, but now you have freedom in Christ Jesus,a unique freedom to praise and glorify His name, a freedom to give glory to God at all times. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus; the old things have passed away, and everything has been made new.

Everything we do for the Lord must be continuous. There is no such thing for a believer as a season to praise the Lord and another season to drift away from Him, go into the world, enjoy, and then return. The Lord seeks those who persevere in Him and remain constantly in His presence.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you; He will also do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
What we declare with our mouth becomes reality in our life. As a person thinks, so he is. If thoughts of pride and arrogance live within someone, pride and arrogance will manifest, because they cannot be hidden in one’s behavior—until that person repents and seeks God’s humility.
We must constantly declare Christ Jesus as King and Lord over our lives for the following reason:
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow—in heaven, on earth, and under the earth—and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:8-9)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
So, just as you have received Christ Jesus, walk in Him—firmly rooted, built up in Him, and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7)
It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. For the one who does evil will receive the consequences of the evil he has done, and there is no favoritism. (Colossians 3:24-25)
If we say we have fellowship with Him but walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
It is time for all of us to make every effort to approach the throne of God’s grace, so that we may receive timely help and support.
The Lord will cover our lives with His mercy.
