Filomena College MAVO celebrates 4 years of its Afterschool Program

Filomena College 3

Art is an important element in guiding children and adults onto the right path. That has been the philosophy at Filomena College MAVO (FCM) in San Nicolas for 4 years now. The afterschool program, which encompasses the arts of Singing, Dance, Painting, 3D Printing, and Fashion, started 4 years ago in 2022 under the leadership of former principal Raquel Lampe.

The collaboration with Artisa, led by Tito Bolivar, is going exceptionally well, and today FCM’s leadership—Joraine Oduber and Gislene Semerel continues to drive this project forward. Students from San Nicolas and across Aruba are attending, and it is gratifying to see the school’s vision so warmly embraced. For us, continuing to instill art and culture in Aruba’s youth remains essential. For more information, please call 5845156 or visit the Facebook and Instagram pages of Filomena College MAVO, Aruba.
