It is God’s desire that we be united, that we love one another, help one another, restore one another, and care for one another.
That is why it is written that we must love God above all things and love our neighbor as ourselves.
Evil and greed have entered the world and are raging everywhere, bringing all kinds of immorality, perversity, lies, and deceit to keep people in darkness.
The Word of God says the following:
“Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope of your calling: one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all.” (Ephesians 4:1–6)
And so, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with one another and forgive one another; if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive as the Lord has forgiven you — so must you also do. And above all these things, clothe yourselves with love, which is the perfect bond of unity. (Colossians 3:12–14)
The system of breaking others, dragging others down, holding others under, or manipulating others does not come from God. Nowhere in His Word does God command us to destroy others, but He urges us to support one another in His will, and to help in everything that is good and admirable in His sight.
Especially to our young people: God has not commanded anyone to hate others for no reason or to seek revenge just because we have seen such scenes in movies. And now some want to apply those habits without understanding where these influences come from in their lives.
Evil has no boundaries. It is time to stop imitating evil and to ask God to fill your hearts with goodness so that you can love and help others, just as God loves you.
The Word of God says in Psalm 133:1:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.”
This is God’s perfect will: that we all live together in harmony, not that we fear one another, avoid each other’s neighborhoods, or cannot communicate with one another.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, shouting, and slander be removed from you, along with all malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you.
The trend we see today — where two siblings live in the same house but do not speak to each other, do not eat together, each eating in their own room — let’s be clear: this disorder does not come from God. God is love and unity, and such behavior is the beginning of hostility and shame within the family. It is not a joke, but something that brings pain and sadness. Parents must do their best to correct this as quickly as possible, and not allow any root of bitterness to grow in the home.
God is love, and love comes from God. God commands us to forgive one another, and this must be modeled by the parents, who understand that the bond of peace and love must be maintained.
