Judge rejects petition: Chania Fernandes Pedra remains in custody

In addition to requesting Moscovicz as her lawyer, Chania Fernandes Pedra asked the Judge to grant her provisional release under conditions stipulated by the Judge. The Prosecutor stated that they are against releasing Chania. The Judge adjourned briefly to evaluate the request. Upon returning, the Judge made a decision and rejected the petition for Chania’s release.
