Sixteen soldiers from Curaçao & Aruba have successfully completed the Dutch Management Training course and received their certificate at the Suffisant naval barracks.

The course is aimed at soldiers transitioning to non-commissioned officer training and becoming corporals. During the course, the soldiers explored various leadership styles and discovered which style best suits their personality and leadership style.

The knowledge and skills acquired form an important foundation for the corporal training program, which begins next Monday. With this certificate, the sixteen soldiers will be better prepared for their new roles as future leaders within the armed forces.

The course contributes to the professionalization of the Caribbean military, an important ambition of Defense in the Caribbean Region.
