The MAN-PIN parliamentary faction has taken note of a statement made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom, Van Weel, in the media on January 9, 2026, in which he shares the same view as MAN-PIN regarding a role for the ABC islands in Venezuela’s transition to democracy.
MAN-PIN hopes that the President of Parliament will place its proposal (motion) on the agenda promptly, which was submitted on January 7, 2026, so that Parliament can create the opportunity for Curaçao to clearly fulfill the role of facilitator.
