No reason to panic about the Venezuela–U.S. situation

Parlamentario Muzaninne Wever

Parliamentarian Muzaninne Wever states that as parliamentarians they are aware that the situation between Venezuela and the United States, taking place in the Caribbean region, may cause concern among our people. However, she believes that Aruba can remain calm and keep a balanced perspective.
According to Wever, at this moment we should not create fear among the population or claim that the situation is a crisis. Instead, we must remain vigilant to ensure that the Government of Aruba is fully on top of the situation and that all security measures are being carried out, with strong communication maintained with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
