Even though darkness causes harm and destruction, many people—because of ignorance, rebellion, and disobedience—remain trapped in darkness and do not heed the Word of God, which says:
“This is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:19)
If we look around us, how many people who know the truth still support darkness? How many, seeing evil deeds, still participate—out of friendship, politics, or simply because they do not care?
Young people are caught in darkness, and their elders allow it:
- They go out without regard for returning home on time.
- They sleep outside where no one knows where they are.
- They use drugs, drink alcohol, steal, buy or rent cars, engage in mischief, and take part in many wrong activities.
The most tragic thing is that no one knows where these behaviors come from, and elders often dream of nothing better. Adults hurt their children, do immoral things, and the youth have to endure bullying because of their elders’ behavior. Even then, many elders refuse to understand that wrongdoing causes pain in the family.
This is the true Light, which shines for everyone who comes into the world. (John 1:9)
Jesus said:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
When people do not have the Light of Christ, they walk in evil, theft, immorality—everything described in Romans 1:18–32, 2 Timothy 3:1–5, Galatians 5:19–21, and 1 Corinthians 6:9–10. They will not inherit the Kingdom of God unless they repent and come into the light of Christ.
The light of Christ is a necessity for everyone’s life because, as John 3:16 clearly says, whoever believes will be saved, but whoever does not believe is condemned.
What does condemnation mean?
Everyone who breaks the law must go to prison. Likewise, all who are spiritually condemned face eternal death in hell. This is condemnation if they do not repent and come to Christ. But all who believe will have eternal life in Christ Jesus. This applies to everyone in the world—it is impossible to enter heaven without Christ Jesus.
The time has come for everyone to know the truth, because Christ Jesus is not a religion—He is our Salvation. Without Him, nothing can work, no matter how modern the world becomes.
Because before, you were in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, walking as children of light, producing fruit that consists of goodness, righteousness, and truth. (Ephesians 5:8)
No one can preach themselves; everyone must preach Christ, giving all honor and glory to God Almighty, who holds everything in His hands.
Just as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him. (Colossians 2:6)
The time has come to preach the Gospel more than ever, to carry out the Great Commission—a command from God for all of us.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
