Police investigating case Involving two tourists

On Sunday at 8:44 a.m., the Police Central Dispatch was notified that at the St. Regis Hotel a person had reportedly fallen from a balcony and was showing no signs of life.

Police Central dispatched officers as well as an ambulance to the mentioned location. Upon arrival, police units indeed found a male individual who showed no signs of life.

Ambulance personnel were unable to do anything further for the victim. The individual is a male tourist of American nationality.

Detectives, forensic police, a forensic doctor, and the Victim Support Department were present at the scene of the incident.

The investigation conducted indicates that the victim jumped from the highest floor of the hotel, resulting in his death. The victim is a male tourist of American nationality.

Afterwards, police and hotel staff went to check the victim’s room, where they discovered a woman who also showed no signs of life. This was the victim’s partner.

This is a tragic and unusual case, and the Aruba Police Force extends its condolences to the families of the deceased.

The case is under investigation by the relevant authorities, and no further details are available at this time.
