Last week, the Executive Committee of the Organización Deportiva Suramericana (ODESUR) was present in Panama City, Panama, to meet with the organizing committee and receive full updates on the preparations for the 2026 South American Youth Games in Panama.
The President of the Comité Olímpico Arubano (COA), Mrs. Wanda Broeksema, attended the meetings in her capacity as a member of ODESUR’s Executive Committee.
The visit lasted two long and intensive days filled with meetings and inspections of various operational and competition venues. During these visits, it was confirmed that everything is on the right track for what promises to be a major sporting event in just a few weeks.
It is important to highlight that the Games will take place next month in April, and TEAMARU will participate with athletes from different sports disciplines. More information about the Games and Aruba’s participation will be shared soon.
