The reinauguration of the monument dedicated to the memory of fallen fishermen is being regarded as an initiative of great value and significance for the community. The project was originally launched in 2013 as an initiative of Otmar Oduber and has now been resumed and completed thanks to the commitment of Minister Wendrick Cecilia, who led the process to reinaugurate the monument.

PPA parliamentary faction leader, Member of Parliament Eduard Pieters, was present at the event and expressed his appreciation for the initiative.
