Jesus Christ said: He who is not with Me is against Me.
In Luke 11:23 it is written: “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.”
It is very difficult to go against the Word of God and still expect God’s blessing, because God looks at your heart. From the heart come both good and evil things, and we must remember that our whole body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
Be careful not to hinder anyone from serving God, not to discourage anyone from attending services, and not to interfere with what God is giving them. Be aware that when the Word of God is preached and you show no respect, you are not disrespecting the one bringing the message — you are disrespecting God.
This matter is more delicate than we think, especially when we consider the following:
There are two kinds of believers — or better said, two kinds of Christians:
– There are carnal believers and spiritual believers (Galatians 5:16–21) and (Galatians 5:22).
– Some believers surrender completely to the Lord, and others do not surrender fully but leave room for worldly things (Romans 6:13 and Romans 12:1).
– Some believers place themselves under an unequal yoke (2 Corinthians 6:14–18).
– Some believers are worldly and not spiritual (1 Corinthians 3:16–17). They do not want to be faithful to God.
– Some believers do not want any responsibility and do not want to submit to God (Matthew 11:29). They have no time for the things of God. They lack discipline.
– Some believers have no prayer life (Matthew 6:6).
– Some believers do not consider church attendance a priority (Hebrews 10:25).
Many times attacks come into our lives without us noticing, and they repeat themselves without our awareness.
Imagine people at home who, just when it is time to get ready for church, begin a discussion that causes them to be late or prevents them from going at all — blaming each other.
When it is time to pray, they begin to feel all kinds of pains that keep them from participating — especially headaches.
For family or friend gatherings during the week they can stay up late, but for a prayer night they complain about losing sleep.
All these things make us aware that the enemy is present to prevent us from submitting and serving God with our whole heart.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
We must seek knowledge, especially to guide our children in the ways of God, for no one can give what he does not have.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
Encourage your children to serve the Lord even more than you encourage them to practice any sport, for everything is temporary — but our God is eternal.
Today many people have arisen, but also many winds of false doctrine and demonic fables: things that make it hard to understand how people allow the devil to deceive them so deeply that they want to force others to believe their lies, even trying to legalize those lies, so that the new generation remains in darkness.
Everyone and everything that goes against the Word of God goes against God.
Everyone who opposes God’s principles is completely opposed to God.
