The Suppliers’ Day 2025, held at the Corralium Hotel Bonaire, was a great success. The event brought together dozens of local and regional companies with representatives of the Public Entity Bonaire (OLB), the Public Entity St. Eustatius (OLE), and other public institutions, including the Dutch Caribbean Government Service (RCN). The goal of the day was to strengthen cooperation, share knowledge, and create new opportunities for sustainable economic growth on the islands.
During Suppliers’ Day, entrepreneurs were able to learn more about the procurement processes of the public entities – including OLB and OLE – and the Dutch Caribbean Government Service (RCN), and had the opportunity to ask questions about tenders, invoicing, and collaboration.
The program included information sessions and networking opportunities where suppliers and government officials engaged directly with each other.
A wide range of companies participated in the event, from construction and maintenance firms to suppliers of office supplies and cleaning services.
The organizers look back on an inspiring and productive day. The strong turnout and positive feedback from participants confirmed the need for more direct communication and cooperation between government and the local business community.
