This year is the fifth consecutive year that a Painting Contest is organized

Eng This Year Is The Fifth Consecutive Year That A Painting Contest Is Organized 2.6

The goal of the contest is to raise awareness especially for our children about Aruba’s Dog Law. The children in turn through their paintings express themselves so that they can learn more about this law and they too may educate people around them when they see something that does not fit their duty.

This year the children will have to paint one or more dogs in the Cure; Education Minister Endy Croes decided to follow the line of the campaign that the Police Corps launched in July: Cachos En Cura, Ta Ley E Ta. Participation is free and all children attending primary school can participate. If you as a parent know that your child has not received the form at school, you can download the form via www.specialprojectsaruba.org and print page 2 (the print may be black and white); page 1 is the information page.

The painting should be in color and painted by the child himself, thus without the help of a parent. Details of how to communicate with the winning student are also important to mention on the participation form. The last day to submit the participation forms is Monday, September 22, 2023. The winners will be announced on October 4, 2023 on the Facebook page of the Wever-Croes Cabinet. The winning children will be invited in October, after the holidays, to receive their gifts.

The Government of Aruba invites all parents and teachers to encourage children attending primary school to participate. Minister Endy Croes hopes to count a record number this year. If every citizen of Aruba begins to instill the due care of our Dog Law in our children, we can guarantee a bright future for law-abiding and responsible pet owners and their own dogs.
