Mrs. Amory Swindel, from the United States, has been recognized as Bonaire Ambassador in the platinum category for her 30 years of visiting Bonaire.

On Monday, March 24, one day before her birthday, Mrs. Swindel was honored at Captain Don’s Habitat. It was an emotional moment when everyone was asked to join in and congratulate her while singing.

Mrs. Swindel was deeply moved by this and expressed her gratitude for the surprise. On behalf of the management of the Tourist Board, Helen Mercera provided the recognition ceremony, while Claire Thielman-Sealy presented the accompanying awards.

Couple Michael and Linda Drabik were also honored for their 10 years of visiting Bonaire. A bronze medal was awarded on this occasion.

TCB congratulates our new ambassadors and hopes that they will definitely continue to visit Bonaire in the future.
