In celebration of Tourism Month
Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is organizing a fantastic scavenger hunt for children for the fourth time to mark Tourism Month this coming September. The event will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, between 10 am and 12 pm in Rincon and the surrounding area. A bus will be available to transport participants from Playa to Rincon.
Children aged 8 to 12 are eligible to participate. To take part, groups of five children must be formed, accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older. Participation requires completing a registration form at TCB; the event is entirely free of charge. The deadline for registration is Friday, September 11, 2026.
Each group must present a creative costume based on a specific fruit assigned to them at registration. This theme must be reflected in the costumes they wear. A prize will be awarded for this aspect of the event.
The scavenger hunt involves visiting various tourist and historical sites, with associated activities included along the way. After the hunt, all participants will receive lunch at Kos Bon So and a goody bag from TCB.
The group that scores the highest number of points and finishes within the allotted time will be declared the winner. Prizes will be awarded for third place, second place, and the overall winners. Attractive prizes will be presented during the Taste of Bonaire event on Saturday, September 26, 2026, which marks the conclusion of Tourism Month.
