On Tuesday, at approximately 2:00 PM, the police dispatch was informed that a fight had taken place near a bus stop on Caya Jose Geerman in San Nicolas.
Initial reports indicated that two youths had been stabbed with a knife.
A San Nicolas patrol and multiple police units were dispatched to the scene of the incident. An ambulance was also dispatched.
Upon arrival, the first patrol encountered a situation where two youths had been stabbed: a 14-year-old boy with a stab wound to his neck and an 18-year-old male with a stab wound to his head.
Ambulance personnel arrived and provided medical assistance to the victims, transporting one to ImSan and the 14-year-old victim to the HOH (Horacio Oduber Hospital).
Police acted swiftly and arrested the suspect, a 15-year-old male. He was transported to the San Nicolas police station, presented before the deputy prosecutor, placed under arrest, and handed over to the JZP (Juvenile Police Department), which is investigating the case.
The Aruba Police Force takes these cases very seriously, especially given that minors are involved.
The latest information indicates that both victims are in stable condition.
