Bonaire celebrates Children’s Music Week 2025 with the theme ‘Dream’

Bonaire proudly celebrates the fourth edition of Children’s Music Week, with the theme: “Dream”. This festive period emphasizes the importance of positive music for children’s development and growth.

Campaign: “Children should hear children’s songs”

In collaboration with Children’s Songs Week, ACE Foundation launches the awareness campaign: “Children should hear children’s songs”. This campaign is a call to parents and educators to give children the opportunity to listen to age-appropriate music. Music that promotes values and norms, positively influences their personal development, and nurtures their dreams.

Important dates:
May 7: Launch of the song “Kanta Positivo” – a track composed by Xechel “BAUCO” Jacobs and produced by ACE Foundation.
May 12: Publication of the song package for Children’s Songs Week, including the theme song “Dream”, with accompanying music video on ACE Foundation’s YouTube channel.
May 18: Official opening of Children’s Songs Week with the premiere of the musical theater performance “Mi Melodia” and the music video.
May 24: Celebration of ACE Foundation’s first lustrum with a performance by the Jacobs Family and ACE Tweens.
May 28: Closing ceremony with a musical parade and performances by talents from various schools and/or care centers.

Opening night – May 18
The official opening takes place on Sunday, May 18 at 6:00 PM at Creative World. This event is accessible to a limited audience but will be available worldwide via livestream.

During the opening, ACE Foundation will premiere the musical theater performance “Mi Melodia”.

Closing celebration – May 28

Children’s Songs Week concludes with a festive parade featuring children from schools and care institutions. Additionally, there will be musical performances by various schools.
