La madrugada del domingo, a las 00:02, la central de policía recibió el aviso de un accidente de motocicleta en la carretera de Westpunt.
La primera información enviada a la policía indicaba que el conductor, por alguna razón, impactó contra unas piedras (rocas) a un costado de la vía y no respondía.
La central policial despachó una patrulla y una ambulancia al lugar del incidente.
Al llegar la primera patrulla, encontraron al conductor de la motocicleta accidentada inconsciente.
La ambulancia se presentó y brindó asistencia médica al conductor, pero lamentablemente no pudieron hacer nada por él.
El médico forense dictaminó el fallecimiento del joven Noah Ian Hietbrink, nacido en Aruba el 10 de noviembre de 2008 (17 años).
Especialistas de tráfico y personal de la policía técnica se presentaron en el sitio para realizar las investigaciones correspondientes.
El Departamento de Asistencia a las Víctimas (Slachtofferhulp) acudió para brindar apoyo a la familia del fallecido.

Aruba records its 11th traffic fatality
Early Sunday morning at 00:02, the police dispatch was notified of a motorcycle accident on the Westpunt road.
Initial reports to the police stated that, for reasons unknown, the driver struck rocks on the side of the road and was unresponsive.
Police dispatch sent a patrol unit and an ambulance to the scene.
Upon arrival, the first patrol unit found the motorcycle driver unresponsive following the crash.
Paramedics arrived and rendered medical assistance to the male driver, but unfortunately, nothing more could be done for him.
The forensic doctor confirmed the death of the young man, Noah Ian Hietbrink, born in Aruba on November 10, 2008 (17 years old).
Traffic specialists and the forensic police arrived to conduct an investigation.
