With a great turnout of more than 100 participants, the Anti-Doping Conference 2026: “Fair Play, Clean Future – Protecting the spirit of Sport” showed the high interest of Aruba’s sports community in anti-doping education. This conference was organized by ARUNADO, which is the local anti-doping organization, together with the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) and with financial support from Olympic Solidarity.
With 4 invited international speakers, various breakout sessions were held where groups learned about very important and relevant topics in the sports world, such as supplement use, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list, and how to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), which is necessary for those taking medication that is on the WADA prohibited list. The 4 sessions managed to share a lot of information in an interactive and fun way, thus capturing the attention of all the young people present.

Dutch Anti-Doping Conferentie 2026 een daverend succes Met een grote opkomst van meer dan 100 deelnemers heeft de Anti-Doping Conferentie 2026: “Fair Play, Clean Future – Protecting the spirit of Sport” de grote interesse van de Arubaanse sportgemeenschap in antidopingeducatie aangetoond. Deze conferentie werd georganiseerd door ARUNADO, de lokale antidopingorganisatie, samen met het Arubaans Olympisch Comité (COA) en met financiële steun van Olympic Solidarity.
Met 4 uitnodigde internationale sprekers werden verschillende breakout-sessies gehouden waar de groepen leerden over zeer belangrijke en relevante onderwerpen in de sportwereld, zoals supplementengebruik, de lijst van verboden stoffen van het World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) en hoe een Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) aan te vragen, wat noodzakelijk is voor degenen die medicatie gebruiken die op de WADA-lijst staat. De 4 sessies wisten veel informatie op een interactieve en plezierige manier te delen, waardoor de aandacht van alle aanwezige jongeren werd getrokken.
