Different leaders from different countries gathered last week in New York for the United Nations General Assembly #UNGA78. Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes has participates in various meetings and gatherings along with premieres in the Kingdom. Different first leaders of several countries attended the United Nations General Assembly to discuss common themes and global problems.
At a lunch organized by Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands, Prime Minister together with different heads of state of similar countries such as the SIDS, different “Best Practices” were elaborated, emphasizing the importance of other countries knowing what each one is doing in this field. The prime minister stressed that at this meeting Aruba also received several compliments for its progress of different plans that were executed or are being executed and commitments were made to continue working together.
It was a successful and fruitful week for Aruba and we will work together and work hard so that soon this will also translate into projects that we can finish in Aruba. It is an honor and pride for me to be able to represent my sweet Aruba on an international stage,” the Prime Minister said. The lunch meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Cape Verde, the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mauritius, Antigua and Barbuda.
