Bureau City Inspector (BCI) plays a crucial role in the second edition of the national cleanup campaign “Cuida Aruba”, taking place on August 28 and 29, 2026. BCI, together with the Crisis Management Office (CMO), is in charge of logistical coordination and planning to ensure the waste management process runs smoothly.
BCI’s Role in the Action:
- Coordination and Planning: BCI helps the CMO coordinate and plan the areas and collection points for throwing away trash to guarantee efficient operations.
- Guidance at Collection Points: BCI personnel will be present at the dumping sites to indicate and guide citizens on where to deposit the different types of waste.
- Continuous Monitoring: BCI will have teams driving around to ensure everything is going well and to prevent trash from being dumped where it shouldn’t be.
- Waste Reduction: With these neighborhood measures and actions, the waste disposal area will open completely free of charge.
Appeal to the Community: BCI emphasizes that waste separation is the most essential part of the action. For this reason, the people of Aruba are asked to cooperate, help, separate the waste correctly, and put everything in its proper place.
The action will take place on Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29: a day for the community to clean their homes, neighborhoods, and environment, making use of the collection points enabled for the occasion so that together we can make our beloved Aruba clean.
