The exercises consist of two parts; a Field Training Exercise (FTX) and a Live Fire Exercise (LFX). The soldiers will be moving around between the locations with military vehicles, and will be sleeping at strategic places, spread all around the island. Curaçao offers challenging circumstances, such as the warm climate and diverse landscapes, which are perfect to prepare the soldiers for real missions. By training on unknown territory, the soldiers will learn how th switch rapidly and to better cooperate during complex situations. During the Caribbean Djokja the soldiers will better their battle techniques, they will apply better technologies and optimize collaboration. Thanks to these types of exercises the soldiers can act flexibly and effectively, when and where that is necessary.
