The Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement and MBO Bonaire proudly announce the successful completion of their partnership on internship placements. Since the start of the program, students from MBO Bonaire have had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of supervision and enforcement, including support during events and oversight at public locations.
These internship placements not only allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, but also helped them develop essential skills related to public safety. As a result, the collaboration contributed both to the professional growth of the students and to strengthening safety and order on Bonaire.
Mr. Richardson, Director of the Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement, looks back on the program with great satisfaction:
“The internships have formed an important bridge between education and practical work. We are proud of the efforts and achievements of the students and grateful for the valuable contributions they have made to our department. This collaboration highlights the importance of actively involving local talent in public safety.”
MBO Bonaire also emphasizes the significance of the program:
“This partnership gives our students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience that prepares them well for a career in the public sector. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration.”
Given the positive outcomes, both parties have expressed their intention to further expand the partnership in the future, offering even more MBO Bonaire students the opportunity to complete an internship with the Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement.
