In connection with the official opening of the Office of the Ombudsman on December 1, 2025, the Ombudsman of Aruba will organize two special sessions for Aruban students living in the Netherlands.
On Monday, October 27, a meeting will take place at Arubahuis, The Hague, between Ombudsman Ms. Jurima Bryson and Aruban students studying in the Netherlands.
The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the new Ombudsman institution and to explain how the Ombudsman can assist Aruban students.
According to the law, any person may file a complaint with the Ombudsman, and it is not required for the person to reside in Aruba.
Additionally, the Ombudsman will explain her role within society, and there will be room for questions and discussion. In this way, Aruban students in the Netherlands will have the opportunity to meet Aruba’s first Ombudsman in person.
The Ombudsman of Aruba warmly invites all Aruban students in the Netherlands to attend this informative session. Admission is free.
