Distraction and division are everywhere today, because since the very beginning of the world — as written in Genesis 3 — the devil has been the enemy of the family, seeking to destroy it. That is why, now more than ever, we must stand firm with our families on the path of the Lord.
There are many traps, so we need God’s wisdom and discernment, which we receive when we seek intimacy with Him — through prayer, fasting, night vigils, and studying His Word.
Everywhere there are people who twist the Word — false prophets — as mentioned in Matthew 24:4, which says:
“Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ.’”
Now we must be cautious about everything artificial, because everything is becoming artificial, and we know the enemy’s plan behind it. The devil is a great imitator, and he will use this kind of artificial intelligence to deceive many — especially our youth — because he wants to keep them trapped.
Do not just say, “My house and I serve the Lord,” but live it. Make it your way of life, a true commitment to God, because the days are evil, and we must walk wisely.
Do not let anything or anyone draw you away from God’s path. It is better to lose a friendship for Christ than to lose Christ for a friendship.
Keep your spiritual priority high — Christ Jesus in your life.
Do not abandon the place where you receive God’s Word because of others, but remain strong in the Word so that the adversary — the devil — will retreat when he sees that you are steadfast.
John 10:28-29 shows us the assurance we have in Christ Jesus:
“My sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
I and the Father are one.”
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. We are not fighting physically — this is a great and serious spiritual battle. We must not waste time with childish things but stand firm against the enemy’s plans.
Jesus said:
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
There is no burden Jesus cannot lift. Do not let anyone convince you that your situation cannot change — everything is possible for those who believe, and for those who strive and are courageous.
Let nothing hold you back, but put your complete trust in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Do not fear, because fear is not God’s will. Fear does not come from God. God has not given us a spirit of fear.
So whenever fear tries to take hold, rebuke it, and stand firm in the Lord, for in the name of Jesus, evil and immorality will tremble before you.
These are difficult times, people do not want to listen, but our mission to spread the Gospel must continue, for that is God’s command.
Let us stand firm and persevere every day and every moment.
