Let’s continue to magnify, enrich, and develop our culture
the Government of Aruba congratulates the Union of Aruban Cultural Organizations (UNOCA) on its 40th anniversary.
For 40 years, UNOCA has played an important role in the promotion and development of culture in Aruba. With commitment and dedication, the organization has contributed to strengthening the cultural sector and has provided support to a large number of artists, organizations, and various cultural initiatives.
In 2008, UNOCA acquired the Scol di Arte (School of Art) building in order to provide more opportunities for the San Nicolas community to develop in the field of Art and Culture.
As Minister of Culture, Prime Minister Mike Eman expresses his appreciation to all those who have contributed to the success of UNOCA over the past 40 years: the boards, members, staff, volunteers, the Department of Culture, and all collaborators who have worked to promote and preserve our culture.
The Government wishes UNOCA much success in the years to come and hopes that the collaboration to strengthen our cultural identity and continue stimulating creativity in Aruba will endure.
Congratulations on 40 years of service to Aruba and to our culture!
