In recognition of International Accounting Day, observed on November 10, former Minister of Finance and current Parliamentarian Xiomara Maduro extends her congratulations to the Department of Finance for the launch of their new website: www.finance.gov.aw.
With this new platform, Aruba now finally has a single, centralized point where all financial information of the country is presented in a transparent, modern and accessible way. This represents an important milestone in strengthening financial transparency, an essential tool to reinforce both public and international confidence in Aruba.
This strategic step follows a recommendation made by the IMF as part of its assessment of Aruba’s economy and public finances, and contributes to ongoing efforts to ensure good governance and transparency in public financial management.
With Parliament soon set to discuss the 2026 Budget, this is a perfect moment for all interested parties to visit the new website and stay well-informed with all relevant information for the debate.
Parliamentarian Maduro congratulates the dedicated team of the Department of Finance for their consistent work, commitment and dedication to modernizing the way Aruba presents and manages its financial data.
