On December 1 st , Tourism Corporation Bonaire
(TCB) recognized Mr. Jim Nuckolls as Bonaire Ambassador. Jim is well-known on
Bonaire, having been honored as an ambassador in various categories several times
in the past.
Over the years, he always stayed at Captain Don's Habitat. His first stay at the hotel
was in 1994. "I was a good friend of Captain Don and Jack Chalk, who are both now
deceased," said Jim Nuckolls.
This time, Jim also brought his wife to Bonaire. Jim is celebrating his 71 st birthday on
our island with all his friends at Captain Don's Habitat.
Helen Mercera from TCB, along with Claire Sealy, managing director of Captain
Don's Habitat, presented our ambassador with a platinum plaque and accompanying
certificate.
