This weekend I had the honor and trust of the champion organization Miss Teen Universe 2026, under the guidance of Edgar Kock, to be part of the judging panel.
A competition leading up to the final officially started two nights prior, where 8 young women presented their designs in swimwear and evening gowns. They also had individual interviews with the jury.
The final itself in the ballroom of the Marriott Resort was one where I applaud the organization, which worked hard under the leadership of Edselyn Figaroa, Xavier and Jeanissa Maduro, Edgar Kock, and other members.
It was difficult to choose the winner who will represent Aruba next month in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia in Asia. Eight (8) well-prepared candidates competed, and each had the chance to win the pink diamond crown. The production, the music, the masters of ceremonies, the treatment of the jury, every queen, every trainer, every designer, every photographer, fellow jury members, all volunteers and production members, sponsors, and the way the show ran were so professional that I say we were honored to be asked for this responsibility.
Congratulations to the organization, congratulations to all the queens, and congratulations to the winner Caithlyn Kock, her finalists, her family, and supporters. Also to everyone who won a special award tonight.
Much success to Miss Teen Universe Aruba 2026, Caithlyn Kock, and may Aruba achieve this maximum crown. Also, success to every candidate who will be representing us at other pageants around the world.
