On Saturday 15 April, the political training course for MAN Party members started. This course is for:
- New members and potential candidates
- Active Youth (AYO)
- Members interested in a refreshment course
The General Objectives provide general knowledge about politics and political parties, provide information about the history of MAN, provide general knowledge of MAN’s ideology and basic principles, contribute to an understanding of the role of political parties in general and MAN in particular in the context of politics and governance in Curaçao.
The lecturers include Drs. Frank Quirindongo, Kenneth Gijsbertha, Gilbert Cijntje and other guest speakers. The next lesson will take place on Saturday, April 22 at the ICUC.
At the end of the course participants give an evaluation (oral and written) of the course and receive a certificate of participation. The MAN Party believes in the formation of the people and is confident that it will be able to raise the level of this politics in Curaçao.
As is known after the election MAN made an evaluation and one of the recommendations is that there should be political training programs for list members and prospective candidates. For the MAN directive Political Training is important and will be focused on this.
