A summary case of a Cabinet minister Wever Croes against two local journalists will take place in court on Monday. A case in which airtime rectification is demanded from these two journalists, Patrick Paskel and Speed Andrade.
A little more than two months ago these two people, during an alleged News, attacked the Minister of Justice.
They mentioned that he would have been detained for a time in connection with an investigation against police officers who committed irregularities. All of this is said without ever presenting any evidence of the fact on the air. This is something that happened many years ago according to these two journalists and for which there is nowhere any record, a document that shows that this did happen.
The Minister felt himself and his name attached. More so because he currently occupies the position of Minister of Justice. This is a serious matter, and cannot allow to continue bringing unfounded accusations against him in the future.
To put a stop to this, the MInister ordered a summary case in which he requested for rectification and abstain of the accusations, without being able to prove them. The case will take place at noon.
