Last Thursday, faction leader Mrs. Evelyn Wever-Croes and Parliamentarian Endy Croes were present in the Parliament hall for a very special meeting with a group of students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the University of Aruba, who are following the minor “Kingdom Affairs.”
The students arrived well prepared and asked critical questions. They showed great interest in the work of Parliament and also requested clarification on several important issues concerning the well-being of Aruba.
Mrs. Wever-Croes expressed that she was very pleased to have actively participated in this exchange—listening to the students’ perspectives, answering all their questions, and emphasizing that many decisions have a direct impact on the students’ future. According to Mrs. Wever-Croes, maintaining this connection with students is essential for transparency, civic engagement, and ensuring that they are well informed about national decision-making and Aruba’s position within the Kingdom.
The faction leader concluded by thanking the students and the lecturers of The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the University of Aruba for their interest and presence in Parliament.
