The team discussed the different forms of domestic violence, including child abuse, the signs and the impact on the victim. They explained the cycle of abuse, whereby the victim is sometimes trapped in an abusive relationship, peer pressure and with friends and family members sometimes encouraging the abuser to abuse their partner.
